Off-Road Vehicle Use on Applicable Properties

NOTE: These specific rules & regulations are in addition to all of the general terms and conditions HERE.

Off-Road Vehicle Use & Operation: ATVs, side-by-sides, snowmobiles, electric bikes/scooters, and similar off-road vehicles must be operated in a safe, responsible manner at all times. Operators must be of legal driving age and hold a valid driver’s license. Helmets are mandatory for all riders, and passengers are only permitted if the vehicle is designed for more than one occupant. Speed limits within the Resort must be obeyed, and reckless driving, stunts, or unnecessary noise will not be tolerated. Off-Road Vehicles are to be used only for transportation to and from trails or designated riding areas—joyriding within the Resort is not permitted.

All Off-Road Vehicles brought onto the property must be owned or registered to a guest staying at the campground and must be properly insured. The owner is responsible for the safe operation of the vehicle and for any damage or injury caused. The Resort assumes no responsibility for theft, loss, or damage to Off-Road Vehicles while on the property.

Off-Road Vehicle Cleaning & Maintenance: Any on-site washing of Off-Road Vehicles must occur in only the designated Off-Road Vehicle washing area (if applicable) and based on Resort rules and water conservation efforts. If no Off-Road Vehicle washing area is provided, any washing of Off-Road Vehicles must take place off-site. Please check with management for the specific seasonal trailer-washing schedule, this will be applicable to Off-Road Vehicle washing if the Resort allows use of Off-Road Vehicles, before beginning any cleaning.

All washing should be done using minimal water, hoses must be equipped with a shut-off nozzle to prevent waste. Washing at campsites, in roadways, or in unauthorized locations is not allowed to protect the environment and prevent mud/debris from entering the water system. Similar to vehicle maintenance work, this is not permitted to take place on-site.

General Conduct: Off-Road Vehicle use must not interfere with the enjoyment or safety of other guests. Riding after dark is prohibited unless returning directly to your campsite from a trail. Failure to comply with these rules may result in loss of Off-Road Vehicle’s privileges or the Licensee’s removal from the Resort without refund.
