Marina, Boat Slips & Dock Terms

NOTE: These specific rules & regulations are in addition to all of the general terms and conditions HERE.

Boat Slips & Docks: Slips are assigned by management and may not be sublet, reassigned, or swapped without prior written approval. Dockage is for recreational, seasonal use only. Living aboard is prohibited unless expressly authorized. Trailers must be stored only in approved areas and may be subject to additional fees.

Boat Insurance Requirements: All vessels must carry a minimum of $2,000,000 in liability insurance. Proof of valid insurance must be submitted to the marina office at the start of each season. The marina assumes no liability for theft, damage, fire, or personal injury related to boats, trailers, or associated equipment.

Fuel Dock and Spill Protocol: Fueling is permitted only at the designated marina operated fuel dock. Absolutely no fueling at slips or with portable fuel tanks. Spills must be reported immediately to marina staff. All boaters are required to carry a spill kit on board. Improper disposal of fuel, oil, or waste will result in fines or termination of slip privileges.

Boat Maintenance and Cleaning: Major repairs, sanding, bottom painting, and pressure washing are not permitted at slips. Minor maintenance must be approved by marina management in advance. Only biodegradable, phosphate-free soaps may be used when washing boats.

Conduct on the Water and Docks: No-wake zones must be observed at all times within marina waters. The speed limit within marina waters is 5 km/h. Generators and engines must not be left running while docked. Quiet hours apply on the water and docks from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM. Excessive music, shouting, or disruptive behavior may result in expulsion from the marina.

Dock and Slip Use: Dock modifications are prohibited. This includes adding cleats, bumpers, lighting, or accessories without written approval. Dock boxes may be installed only with management permission and in designated areas. Items left unattended on docks may be removed by staff without notice.

Pets and Children: Pets must be leashed at all times on marina property and docks. Pet waste must be picked up immediately and disposed of in designated bins. Children under 12 must wear a life jacket and be supervised at all times when on or near docks.

Garbage and Waste Disposal: Garbage must be bagged and placed in designated bins. No garbage or waste may be thrown into the water or left on docks. Pump-out services must be used for all marine sanitation devices. Overboard discharge is strictly prohibited.

Winter Storage and Haul-Out: Winter storage and haul-out services must be booked in advance. All boats must be removed from the water by the posted deadline (Oct 31st). Trailers and shrink-wrapped boats must be stored only in approved areas. All boats must be professionally shrink-wrapped if staying on the property for winter storage. Off-season access is by appointment only and may be subject to weather and staffing.

Transient Boaters: Transient slips are available upon request and are subject to availability. Check-in is required at the marina office upon arrival. Transient guests must adhere to all marina rules and pay applicable fees in advance.
